If you have to save for it, you probably can't afford it. That is the type of watch you buy when you have a net worth in the millions or at least a income in the 100's of thousands. Invest that 24,000 in your future and worry about the luxury good when you have the disposable income to pay for them.

Look on the internet, there are countless used Rolexes for sale. The reason for that: people buy them who can't afford them.

As Billy said, work and save.

I would suggest you put your savings into a mutual fund rather than a savings account. Savings account interest is pitiful at the moment, and mutual funds generally provide much more income than savings accounts. Depending on the fund, you can open an account with as little as $50.00, with $50.00 minimum investment (the minimum ammount varies from one fund to another).

Another advantage of the mutual fund over a savings account is that it is not as easy to get at the money for an impulse purchase. It normally takes from 3 to 10 days to receive money withdrawn from a mutual fund. You have to call or write to authorize the redemption of funds, and await the arrival of the check or EFT. With a savings account, you walk into the bank and make a withdrawal with no wait for desires to cool.

Work, sell your blood to blood bank every week. Become a part-time property and insurance agent. I think thats the fastest way I can think of now.
