Homemade ant farm please help?

ok first off im planning to make my own ant farm sorta like this one (http://www.instructables.com/id/sx4ccohf... cuz im planning on making one the size i want) but yes i was wondering if anyone else has any other links on making my own ant farm also i want to build one in which i dont have to buy ants i can get them from outside (the smaller ones) also i was wondering the best place to find a queen ant at cuz i know you cant buy them in the US but i dont really know where to go for ant hills besides the Nature Center but i heard something about queens fly or something but it was kinda a funny cuz i was simming in my pool and i found an ant with wings but ya please help thankz

I can't help with where to buy ants, but you might really want to take a look at these creative ant habitats (made in layers, with polymer clay and other things, sealsed inside several types of plastic boxes). The creator, Garie Sim, calls them his "Antvironments."
