collects wild snakes (the poisonous ones) and or lizards frogs or whatever type of dangerous animals in their home, or, if you aren't exactly sure...who is even just rumored to have been doing this for many years or months?
Have you ever met them, and did they seem "okay" to you, or not? why or why not?

The reason I ask...is there was a man where I used to live..and apparently who really kept to himself pretty much,(a loner type) and one day his snakes(many of them poisonous and illegal) got loose in his home! I still remember how scared I think that the police really were! Even the neighbors were horrified!

anybody with a good "tail" to tell? hmmm?

Usually you don't know that some of your neighbors have them until they make the 5 o'clock new because they got loose. I don't know why anyone would ever want a pet that could kill them. Yes, it does seem that some ,not all, that own illegal pets are a little mentally disturbed.

I have collected snakes for many years. I have had a number of venomous species, including a gaboon viper, a rhinoceros viper, various rattlesnakes, copperheads and a coral snake. I had to get rid of the "hot" snakes when I remarried some years ago (my wife has a daughter who was only six years old when we got married).

Millions of people in this country keep snakes, although very few keep venomous ones. Snakes are very interesting, and some are very beautiful. If that surprises you, check the following link:

This snake is not more than 2-1/2 feet long when it's mature, and it's very gentle.

A friend and I once had an 8-foot boa constrictor, which he was keeping at his house. One day he called me and said the snake had escaped. Fortunately, he was able to find the snake and return it to its cage...thanks to a neighbor. The snake had climbed into a bush right outside her front door and hissed and then struck at her when she came out. She almost lost it.

I suppose that today more people have pets like poisonous snakes ...sad, but true!

They seem okay only if the know how to care them, and only if they give a confortable place to live.....i can´t understand why people buy reptils and put into a department without giving what they need to survive !!
I have turtles, and I t is too hard too care them , couse they need lots of things to be ok! It is not so easy to have a turtle...so I sUppose, that a person who has lot of dangerous animals into a house is not ok ...

Good luck to all ! From Argentina !
