Paper is better, there's no interest charged. I have a plastic as well and more often I think I should have used paper instead with the finance charge I pay. So if you use plastic, make sure you dont run your debt high. Spend wisely!

I use plastic as paper. I don't buy if it I can't pay it all off at the end of the month. So basically no debt like paper but like carrying the plastic in my pocket for convenience. =)

I use plastic (love the airlinemiles/points)
HOWEVER and that is a BIG however, I only put on plastic what i can pay at the end of the month with cash...
so i basically use my plastic as cash...
the trick - NEVER run a balance on the credit card.
:-)

I never carry paper.
I always use plastic because we got stick up kids around here.
It's a lot safer if you don't have any cash on you.
And you can get things done a lot quicker with plastic.

Well, we use our debit card which comes out of checking. I like not having to count out the money, or just sticking the one card in my pocket and going.

i prefer to use my visa check card that pulls out of my checking account. i tend to whittle away at any handy cash (coffee, candy, etc.) and have no idea where the money went. i think twice about using my card.
