Rich in a job that I hate. I don't like being poor. If I'm rich, I can stock pile my earnings to live on while I find a better job.

I've had a job I loved and was poor doing it. The frustration of trying to make ends meet made me unable to really enjoy my work. So I’d go with the rich and find my happiness in a different avenue in my life, as long as it doesn’t cost me any years in life such as unnecessary anxiety, stress, psychical damage etc. But if you had said a job just remaining middle class and loved the job I’d of tried to stretch myself and make it work with the employment I loved.
