RE:
Would a red leather jumpsuit and Payless wedges be an acceptable outfit for a wedding?
Should I wear the red leather body jump suit for the reception at the 5 star resturant?

No I don't want to be mean or rude but people might "talk, stare, and think you are a you-know-what" And that isn't one of the things that they let die down over time either they will talk about it for years to come. Take it from me. I wore black leather pants, thigh high wedge boots and a snake skin top to my cousins wedding. I just thought it was cool and original but my family said some nasty things about me and they still are.

If you totally hate the bride and groom, I say go for it. If you're trying to draw attention from the bride and her wedding day, by all means wear the red leather jumpsuit. For an accessory, what about a whip?

Yes. And you'll probably want to get a red handbag to go with it. Might as well complete the outfit.

It's only acceptable if you are the bride. If not, you must wear black. I should know, because I saw people thrown out of a wedding for not wearing traditional black.

If you are going for the cheap hooker look, or the unsophisticated slut. LOL I think it would be funny if you dont like the people. But if your going to the wedding I guess you probably like them. If you want to give people someone to talk about go for it. LMAO
