just ignore them, no need to communicate

Yes, if I know I might need them as a resource in the future, and usually it catches them so off-guard that they either are A) Nice back OR B) they realize their stupid attitude doesn't bother me (even though it might, you have to play it off like it doesn't; this is what the feed off of) and they quit being mean.

BUT

If the above either didn't work or its just someone like online, I don't bother

sure. be the bigger person. if it doesn't phase you, it shouldn't phase you to be nice, and show respect to those who may not do the same for you. in this way you lay the foundation for future communication, which is the whole point. so love your enemies, as it's been said, and you may find they'll eventually come to see their ways, and respect you 10-fold for showing understanding, when perhaps no one else did. if not... it builds character and strength to stand up to people not by taking the easy way -- or plucking an eye for an eye -- but by showing the courage to be your true self even under fire.

Yeah try to be nice to everyone that you come in contact with, there is no reason to get upset that someone doesn't like you...If you stay happy and have a positive outlook on life it's infectious.

I have but doing so would depend on what kind of relationship this person and I have and what they did. But I'm never mean back to them, if it's that bad or not someone that I'm very fond of I just ignore them unless they were to just say hi or something simple, then I'd say hi and be on my way.

oh MY gOD i AM SO HAPPY YOU SAID THIS. this OLD WOMAN WAS BEING SO MEAN TO ME. SO two christmas es ago i made some mugs with candy and i sent one to her house. JUST to be nice. NO thank- you nothing.SHE continued to be hateful to me. So i stayed clear of her and i finally left that church. THEy were all starting to act like her. I just went on to a better place that treated me better and with Gods love. ITS strange i saw the news papers where she had committed sucide. SHE had shot her self. THE more i think about it she could of shot me. YOU just never know about cruel mean people.

It is impossible to change everyone to your liking.
Who knows what made them the way they are.
It could be a variety of reasons. Perhaps a death in there immediate family. Who knows ?
But with people like you extending your love or friendship or kindness just maybe they will have a chance to get over it faster. new spirit music.com

Of course, when you get older and you have a job, not everyone you come in contact with will be pleasant. I just act overly friendly and smile like I was there best friend. It drives people nuts..
