It takes ages to start up.I never had that problem before. Recently i intsalled Kaspersky anti virus, intially it worked perfect then after some time this problem started. Could that be the reason?

I think that could be the reason for that problem also. It may be using the memory a lot. Go to start then run and type msconfiq and then go to start up and disable it. Or disable it on the menu from starting up and check if that works. If you want you can uninstall it to check if it is this program.

try running the following two menus of ccleaner
cleaner > Analyze > Run Cleaner
issues > Scan For Issues > Fix Selected Issues

if it is a big program maybe, but not likely. I would recommend to remove from of the start up "services" that will help a lot (google this). next run a defrag and error check. that should take care of your problems

Restore your PC to a back date when you remember your PC was working good..
