I have seen all the ones visible from 39 degrees north. I have always wanted to go to the southern hemisphere to see some of the more prominent constellations there, which I can never see from here. Looks like you are seeing the ones I can't. You must be fairly near the equator to get Bootes and Corona Borealis as well as Crux and Centaurus.
If you can see Bootes, you should be able to see Leo and Gemini. Gemini is just north of Orion and Leo is about halfway from Gemini to Bootes.
And injanear, I know where you're coming from about dark regions, especially if you live near heavily populated areas as I do. Some of these constellations were nothing but blank spaces until I used binoculars or my telescope, or did wide field time-lapse photography.

I think I've seen everything that can be seen from 47° north (no Crux for me), although some of them I mainly know as empty spots in the sky - Monoceros and Camelopardalis, for example. And I just recently figured out which stars constitute Leo Minor.
