No, I don't think so. What would be rude is to not invite her, but you're not doing that. If she's growing tired of only bringing cups, plates, and soda, have her bring chips and cookies, and if she asks why she always has to buy things for the cookouts, let her know, but privately and with compassion, because if she really doesn't know or realize, it would only help her.

What ?you are telling us that you don't like a few cockroches in the food, sounds like you don't like a little meat with your salad, PS I don't blame you for telling them to bring the paper works and soda only.I would too

ive had the same problem. i told them everything is covered. all we needed was paper plates, plastic utinsels, and buns, stuff like that.

It would only be rude if you told her why you didn't want her to bring food. But I'm in agreement with you on this....I want my food to be dirt and grime free...lol.
