With the whole world stunned and helpless, even the Europeans are worried about Iran and they are to the left of Ted Kennedy. After 911 / Madrid Spain / London Bombings ect in the name of Jihad Iran has boasted they wanted the return of Muslim reign in the world and all nations will convert or pay the cost. Given all of their openly expressed intentions and documented actions and publish boasting. Do you really want to bury your head in the sand. Remember only a few years back they where sending children by the thousands to fight Saddam Hussein in Iraq. They don't need kids or even a large army any more terrorist tactic's they see work much better. Remember if they die killing others they think they are going to be in the arms of 70 virgins. They surly will have Nuclear arms soon if good people keep running from them.

I don't know, what amazes me is that I heard that they don't allow any sudden inspections by the nuclear inspectors without an appointment. Its a bit suspicious, if they got nothing to hide, and saying that its for peaceful purposes, then why not prove it, and let the inspectors come every now and then to check on things. Obviously this is a serious issue, they just can't say peace, and expect trust, especially with the stuff they are doing. I think they are hiding something...

Without a doubt. The only way you can not think they are is if you spent the last 20 years under a rock. Ever since Islamic fundamentalists took over the country they have been bent on destroying America and the west in general. Now they have the tools to back up their bull...you think they will stop?

not yet. the way I understand it they have demonstrated they can make weapons grade uranium, but they do not have the facilities yet to produce enough for a bomb. Our brainiacs who know about this stuff just revised their estimate of how long until Iran does have full capability from 3yrs to 6mos. Then they still need an intercontinental delivery system to reach us.

I do. It's too easy to hide nuclear weapons program under 'peaceful' industrial program. Big loop hole under NPT, non proliferation treaty which is pretty useless anyways. NPT basically says 'ok, you can have nuclear program for peaceful purpose.'
With Iran it is like giving gun and ski mask to criminal and saying Ok, don't go robbing a bank now.

It does seem strange that they would be developing nuclear capabilities for electricity, considering they are sitting on so much oil.

yes they will use them and they will believe they are right to do so. They will, because they are young in mind and act as children.
