Sounds like a human response to me, but try asking her why. You never know why people do the things they do. Perhaps the situation is a failure in communication. How many people wake up and decide to jack up someone else's day for the fun of it? Rarely...it is usually a side effect of other issues going on in their lives.

if she did something wrong, than staring at her in a mean way is not disrespectful.
I still would find no reason to stare at her in a mean way though. The best way is to talk it out, find out why she did what she did. Maybe you did something wrong in the first place. I don't know what your definition of "wrong" consists of.
If by "wrong" you mean "different" from how you do things, then you are a very disrespectful person who doesn't even deserve to have a girl in the first place.

'Disrespectful to a girl' means not taking into account her nature with its non-male limitations. Any non-female would probably harm you seriously, with good cause. A man's limitations is often in the area of patience, which women abound with.
I get a keen sense of you toying with a weaker person than yourself. This means you are most likely only respectful of someone you feel threatened by. Be very afraid.
Any time now a stranger will call on you.

Staring at anyone for any reason is disrespectful. Well, maybe not if you're "in the mood" and about to start making out or something. From a distance, she may not notice it or may find it easier to ignore, but it's rude behavior in general.

It's disrespectful. Period. Is is right or wrong? That's a matter of perspective. People take things differently, and it's way too complex to even begin to describe those.

It would have been better to have said what she had done, but if you would have launched a fight, then looking mean was fine. It sounds like she was disrespectful first but it's not a contest you two need to engage in. Forget about it.

That's just a way of letting her know that you're keeping a grudge. If you want to seem very classy and make more friends, go to her and humbly apologize for anything you may have done to provoke her, even if you feel completely innocent. I guarantee you'll feel much better after doing that, and so will she. She'll probably apologize to you too, and you'll have a Dr. Phil moment.

Yes.
Manners 101 says that staring at anyone is rude.
It's a throwback to when animals stared at one another to indicate hostility.
Good luck

Doesn't sound disrespectful from a distance. I'm not there to see it for myself.
