i really need some help. i am 12 years old, and i think i should be getting my period. i have cramps, norma discharge, sensitive boobs, breast enlargment and everything else. but i havent gotten it yet. could this be something serious?

no not at all! I'm your age and I got my first period in the winter time.Every girl has these "signs" of your period. Don't expect your first period to be a lot it starts of really small. These are again, signs that you period is coming. If you haven't yet tell your mom she could help. All the things you are feeling are called PMS. to help the cramps exersise and eat healthy. I bet same girls your age have gotten their period the average age is 12.

You'll be fine... you'll probably start your period soon enough, so don't worry about it. Girls can start their period anywhere between ages 10 and 15, and still be in the "normal" range, so you have plenty of time before you need to worry. Also if it helps, I got boobs years before I started my period, and got cramps several months before I actually started my period, and everything turned out normal for me. I think your body is just preparting to start.

Hi, no the average age to get a period is 14. All of the above is just normal things that start to occur when you grow up. It happens to EVERY girl.

Your boobs shouldn't be sensitive, they should be sore. And discarge normally doubled itself the week before. Enlragement is just puberty. But you are going to start soon.
I find it hilarious at how every girl wants there period. But trust me after your second one you'll be missing the good ol days!

i didn't get my period until i was 13 and i felt like a freak since all the other girls already had theirs. it's totally normal to not have a period yet and you should enjoy not having one! trust me, after that first week you won't want one any more!

at the age of 12 I had all those symptoms but didnt start until 13 and so yea its normal

sweetie its called puberty. your body aches and changes during this time there is no way for us to know when your period will come. just keep a couple of pads in your purse and extra panties and a ziploc bag. in case you make a little mess it will come some day soon

it might be. or maybe ur body aint ready for the period part yet. my friend had big boobs and all too, bnut she didnt hers till she was 13

Sounds normal to me, although it's always good to keep regular check-ups with a doctor.
