Both Israelis and Palestinians desperately need a home that has safe, secure borders.
Alas, every time Israel has attempted to make peace, radical Islamic factions have launched attacks and derailed the peace process - it's happened time and time again.
If, back in 1947/8 the Palestinians had accepted the division of the land, which gave the Jews a tiny sliver, and the Palestinians land too, then we would not have this tragic situation. But it's historical fact that the Arabs in the surrounding countries urged the Palestinians to leave, and promised they would all come back and destroy the newly born Jewish state. And they did try to, in the War of Independence, when all the surrounding Arab nations launched a massive attack on Israel.
Thank goodness, Israel - her people still reeling from the Holocaust - fought back bravely.
Jews have always lived on this land; that is historical fact. Israelis want peace, and some Palestinians do too; but the radical groups among the Palestinians will not hear of it.

In 1948 Israel was mapped out By the British , French,& The United Nations whereas they where ending their ocupation of the reagion. The Palestinians lived in what is now south Jordon. They where never occupiers of Jeruselem or modern day Israel. The first known builders and occupiers where King David & King Solomon. Historians & Archeologist know that. In 1948 Israel started with desert country. They did not come from all around the world where God had sent them and just kick Arabs out of their cities. The Dome of the Rock in Jeruselem was built by Christians and later they Musliems put a dome on it. However their Holy Place of Pilgramage was and still is in Saudi Arabia. Israel has already given all she can. This is not about land its about Truth. However since the Muslems have most of the worlds oil the Truth has became for sale.

Probably the Palestinians.
You cannot claim ownership of some place that someone else has lived in for a thousand years.
Trouble now is most Israelies were born there and most Palestinians wern't.

I may be wrong, but it`s my understanding that the Palestinians were origanally nomads. There are 400,000 Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. They are not allowed to work & are completely taken care of by the Red Cross. It`s hard to say who should be there. The Israelis were given the land to make an Israeli state, But it`s in an awful location. Maybe Israel could move & give the land to Palestine.

Just people in general. Why do we have to dissect the rights to use land into religious entities?
It is a sad world.

None of the above. It's God's land. And if people can't live peacefully on it- then he sets them at each others throats- until they kill each other off- and it becomes peacefull & HIS- once again. :)

in reality they should share it and get over each others differences. live and let live. get over the tit for tat, it is so juvenile and boring. i just wish they would forgive each other and get on with life.
this is my perfect world, and one day we will all live in harmony and dance under the tree's naked feeling fancifull and full of grace.
one day...
