Hello, I know this is a gross topic, but my feet peal, and get these little pus filled blisters on them. And they smell terrible! My toenails have started to thicken up, and i lose my big toenail from time to time. I heard this my be a blood infection, or a fungal infection. Anyone have this problem also?

See a doctor soon . . . in the meantime, wear sandals around the house if you can. Letting your feet dry out will help with that problem. You may want to get some kind of powder to put in your shoes or some new shoes when you get it to clear up. Good luck!

It is a fungal infection. Your treatment should be to see a doctor for a prescription of antifungal pills. You can try some over the counter athlete's foot cremes, but the infection is now in the toenail bed and cuticle, so it can not be treated just from the surface. And wash your feet every day, twice a day if you can, in COLD, soapy water, and rinse well. Switching to white socks may help, too.

I had dry cracks in the soles of my feet so deep that they'd bleed untill my socks were soaked, lost three toenails, 2 grew back OK, 1 was so damaged that it grew back under the skin and had to be surgically removed. It took 3 months of Lamisil pills to cure it, but haven't had a problem since.

You have an infection and the only way to get rid of it is with an antibiotic. Over the counter medicine will not help so schedule an appointment with your doctor asap.

You have bad cases of both Nail fungus AND athletes foot. You can treat the athlete's foot yourself with Lamisil Cream..morning and night, but nail fungus takes lamisil pills for 3 months...very expensive. Get it started asap. You will have to have liver tests done monthly, but if you don't treat it, your nails will give you a terrible time, AND pain.
