There are many different kinds of concerts from small venues to super stadiums from The Whiskey in Hollywood to Woodstock. all have some great shows. To be in the right place on the right night is truly a blessing. My top three shows range over a period of 40 years. In college I saw Bozz Scaggs at UCSD a really amazing show that went on for hours. The crowd was really into it and he did not stop playing till his fingers were bleeding. I saw Emerson Lake and Palmer at and acoustically perfect cathedral in Amsterdam where he played the Church pipe-organ instead of his electric. The Stones shows with their 8 story stage productions. Some of the newer bands Like nickel back with their great energy. Real early Led Zep when Plant was so fresh he could hit the high notes every time. The Dead in their heyday. They made a lot of musical mistakes but the shows and people were great. I can think of a lot of my best concerts. If you really love music. They are all the best!!!

If Festivals (such as Warped Tour or Bamboozle) are included in this, Bamboozle would HANDS DOWN be the absolute best concert that I have ever gone to, and ever will repeatedly go to every year.
Indoor concerts.. I saw a concert with Paramore headlining, with This Providence and The Almost. Awesome concert.

Something Corporate and Less Than Jake
OORRR Jacks Mannequin. I saw it in a theater the size of like a high school auditorium and it was so small anbd close that it felt really great and almost everyone was in like "front row seats" and it was probably the greatest show i've seen. The Cure for Cancer, Jack's Mannequin.
