Cell phones are great for emergencies or if you you're running late and need to let someone know. Anything else can wait until you get home.
Mine is always turned off and hardly used. I've heard too many people getting waaaay too personal in public on them. You never know who's listening.
Plus, I think people who use them a lot and can't stay off them are highly annoying and appear extremely insecure. It's like they can't stand to just "be" for even 5 minutes. They have to talk to anyone and everyone about nothing.

sometimes i feel like throwing my cell phone at a brick wall because it's like a tether. but we are all so used to having this device as our "communicator" with the outside world. try going back to 25 cent payphones in the mojave desert when you're stranded coming back to LA from vegas at 3 a.m. with a flat tire, no spare and only a lone hungry rattlesnake for company.

This is one of those things that you have become what I like to refer to as comfortable with. Its like if you have a wallet/purse and if you are without it you feel naked. I have come to realize though that after a while you will get used to not having or needing the item.

My Razor phone is gay it HAD lousy service and snapped into. I'm now either going to get a blackberry or a Slither.

cuz ppl can't live without electronics. my mom took my ipod away and i started crying. and im actually good with cells phones. and proboly cuz they cost a lot.
