That's an extreme amount of software, and truly sounds like it will take a toll on your systems resources.

Re-imaging your network would get rid of any backdoors, and un-wanted software.. however that's only your first step.

Make sure you have the most up to date service packs installed, including all hotfix, and security patches.

Instead of using multiple programs, find 1 program that works for you.

If you're concerned with security it's well worth an extra cent or two to purchase a good anti-virus, firewall service.

Disable any accounts you don't use, and change the names of your administrator accounts, and of course pick a alpha-numeric password- try adding symbols as well.

Encrypt personal files...

This is a start. It might be well worth your time to scan your network for vulnerabilities your self using tools you can easily find on the web by doing a quick web search.

The command prompt is your friend. Use sub commands of "net" to find out what services are running on your machine, and a list of your users..

Hey thats the same set up I had on my old laptop those programs made that thing run perfectly and made it run safe I never had a problem with it other than the fact that it lagged a bit getting online. You should stick with that it worked fine for me for the past few years befor I switched over to a new all in one program and I had system mechanic 6 for myn.

Well it's good to have em but if the programs all or some do what some of the others do they will cancel each other out!!!! Also there are some viruses that actually go into cetain chips on your mother board so even when you slick down your hard drive and reload it it will again put itself on your hard drive :( It may help to flash your bios that would get rid of any virus or spy bot in the motherboard chips.

Your protection is looking good. The basic rule for good computer security is:

1. Always use only one anti-virus.
2. Always use only one firewall.
3. Always use at least 2 anti-spyware programs.

It seems your programs fit nicely (assuming it is AVG anti-virus that you are using and NOT AVG anti-spyware)

Good job!

You are the biggest threat to your computer. Keep all data stored on removable media. Stay out of chat rooms. A virus scan would of done it.

download a copy of Avast Home from www.avast.com on all computers
Save to desktop , disconnect from internet, install, choose to scan during next restart, hopefully this will remove the trojans before Windows starts again.
