Most people it's between 2 days before your period (with an early pregnancy tester kit) and a few days after.
But my sister-in-law when carrying twins tested pos the day after. I never heard of that anywhere else. But it was her second pregnancy and she had a physical feeling of pregnancy (some women get that), and so she tested.

The earliest time a hCG test will detect a pregnancy is about 8 days after conception or about 1 week before the next period is due. However, this is only possible for about 5% of women. Most women will show a positive hCG level by about 11 to 12 days after conception or a couple of days before the next period would have been due.
By day 28 (first day of missed menses) the hCG level in serum, plasma or urine is about 100 mIU/ml. This should be detectable by all pregnancy tests. There is a very big variation in individual hCG concentrations. At this time, the extremes of normal levels are approximately 5 to 450 mIU/ml in serum or plasma samples.
Some pregnant women at this time will have a low level hCG and will not register on HPTs by the time they are a few days late for their period.
If you think you're pregnant, it might seem like a really long wait, but doctors recommend you don't take a test until your period is a day or more overdue.
If you can't tell whether your period is late or not, because of an erratic cycle, or because you've taken the pill without a break, then you should wait three weeks after unprotected sex before you take the test.
Good luck

If you didn't want to have sex, then that is rape. Some tests will tell you if you are pregnant 1 day before you miss your period. Otherwise, I would wait till you were about 2 weeks late.

15 days after last missed period or 5 days before you cycle if you get an early detection test
pregnancy doesnt have to do with when you have sex it's when you ovulate which is within 2 weeks of your period
it's just easier to get pregnant when you are ovulating
