I guess mine was a PS2 when those were big. Either that or just being with my family. Sorry if that sounds a little tacky.

As a kid, some of the best were an NES, Donkey Kong Country for the SNES, various toys like He-Man, G.I. Joe or Transformers.

As I get older though, the best gift is really just being able to celebrate with family while I still can before we all drift away.

Though having a great big blizzard on Christmas would also be a nice gift. I love having a White Christmas.

I have to say the best gift I have ever gotten is a white Ipod. My daughter chipped in her money with my husband's and my son's, so it was a gift from the whole family. And just being with my family, and being alive and healthy is the best gift I could ever ask for.

Jesus. He's the reason CHRISTmas is a celebration. Christ is the greatest gift I have ever received and the greatest gift to all people. What does that mean exactly? How does that cash out?

We'll Christ as a gift implies something to do with God, man, and heaven.

The requirement to get into heaven is 100% perfection. God as perfect must do all things perfect and therefore judges by a 100% perfect standard. How are you doing with that? The fact is no one is perfect except God. Since we're not perfect, and God demands 100% perfection and doesn't grade of a curve, where are we going to get this perfection from?

Before I mention that, it should probably be good to clarify a specific way God is perfect in relationship to us. Since God does all things perfect you would think He would relate to us in a perfect way. The only way to be able to perfectly relate to us would become one of us, that is, to take on an additional nature, a human nature so He could walk in our shoes.

Since God knew we could never become perfect, even by trying to be as good as we can on the basis of our imperfection and corruption, God provided a way we can have that perfection we need to be with Him forever. He as God (one person with two nature one being divine, the other being human) lived the perfect life in our place which we could never live, died on the cross to pay the penalty our sins deserve, and rose from the dead to conquer sin and death, w this He offers us his perfection in exchange for our sin as an absolutely free gift.

The gift exchange is we give God our garbage, and God gives us Christs perfection to cover our sin, so that we can have a personal relationship with Him for time and eternity. I don't know about you but I think that's a great deal and is the best gift I have ever decided to receive.

About a week before christmas I was wandering through an antique store and saw the most beautiful small antique sewing chest. I told my husband how awesome it was and that when I had some money after christmas I was going to come back and get it. He barely paid attention to what I was saying. I didn't think anymore about it until he surprised me with it on christmas. On his next payday, he had gone back to the store without me knowing it and bought it and hid it.

It was so special to me because instead of asking me what I wanted, he just listened to me and knew what my heart's desire was. It wasn't fancy, or new, or expensive, or worth anything probably to anybody but me, but it was so perfect. My honey is such a keeper!!

Christmas for me came in May 1967 when I returned from Vietnam: I received Christ in my heart, and that is the best gift I have ever received.
