Pregnancy after endometrial ablation is uncommon, with an estimated rate of 0.7%. These pregnancies have been associated with complications such as disorders of abnormal placental adherence, hemorrhage, preterm delivery, and hysterectomy. Although rare, planned pregnancies following endometrial ablation have been reported, but most are unintended and quite complicated.

Not good news sorry

If you are pregnant or suspect that you may be pregnant, you should notify your physician. Endometrial ablation during pregnancy may lead to miscarriage. In most cases, a woman will not be able to become pregnant after an endometrial ablation. If a woman does become pregnant after ablation, the limited tissue left lining the uterus may not be adequate for a fetus to implant and be nourished.

Wow. I'm shocked that your doctor didn't tell you BEFORE you had this procedure that you would be sterile. I know someone who had this procedure (endometrial ablation) and she was told she wouldn't be able to have kids. Your doctors should have discussed this with you thoroughly at the time. On top of this you had a tube ligation?? That pretty much seals the deal.

Here's an option though.....if you have ovaries, you still have eggs. You could still have biological babies via IVF and a surrogate. Perhaps a sister or loving friend would volunteer to do the honors.

Good luck to you.

a friend of mine had three successful pregnancies after a tubal reversal but it really all depends on how you take care of yourself and your follow up care after the reversal and it will also take a while after you have it reversed before your body will be up to carrying a baby
