As long as the water isn't too hot and your water hasn't broken. If the water is making your skin red or making you break a sweat, it's too hot. Remember, your baby can't sweat in there to cool him/her off.

And if your water has broken, go to the hospital. The tubs there are completely sterilized and are safe even after your water has broken.

Yes, you can take a bath at this point. As long as you aren't leaking fluids or anything. Don't get the water too hot (obviously heh).So go in, take a good relaxing bath and enjoy it! Congrats to making it to 40 weeks and congrats on the baby! :)

EDIT: Also... PLEASE BECAREFUL getting out of the tub if you have linoleum floors! Put down towels or something and get out of the tub slowly. I'm almost 28 weeks and I fell getting out of the tub and lets just say that I have bruising in certain areas that normally do NOT get bruised, or at least shouldn't. So please take it easy getting out of the tub!

As long as it isn't above 100 degrees and your water hasn't broken. Warm baths are fine, but hot baths are a no no. Take a bath and enjoy!!

Yes as long as your water hasn't broken yet. If it has you are not supposed to take a bath because you and your baby can get an infection. If water is coming OUT then other things can get it and its very unsafe for your baby.

It is perfectly fine as long as your water hasn't broken. In fact, it will probably help you relax and feel better. Lots of women labor in the water for pain relief.

Enjoy your bath!!

When I was pregnant with my 2 sons my doctor told me not to take a bath that far along because you wouldn't be able to tell if your water broke. Just ask your doctor what he thinks because knows more than anybody else woud.

A bath is fine just watch for your water breaking. If you see air bubbles rise to the surface your water broke and you need to get out immediately. Enjoy!!
