My childhood teddy bear was about 24" high. His eyes had been replaced by black buttons, his nose restitched and his paw pads re-covered with camel coloured cloth. This had been beautifully done by my beloved grandfather who had been a master tailor in his time. My teddy was taken from my family home without my permission, together with a huge box containing ALL my childhood books, while I was away living abroad. I was left heartbroken ... silly to be heartbroken over such a thing, but it's true.

I used to have a pretty big teddy. Ironically I named him Metro (after the tiny little car) heehee

His name was Hercule's he used to advertise loo roll he stood 8ft tall on his back legs,awwwwwww I miss him......
