Do you think they are preppy singers, or rocker girls, so basically what category would they go under? are their fans preppy girls or rock fans?

Both are pop, Kelly pretends to be a rocker girl... Their fans run the gambit, from preppies to goths.

I can stand Kelly Clarrkson, but dont get me started on Avril. That girl needs her mouth stapled shut. Do we all know she started out in canadian country? Is that like cambodian rap music? Do we remember her interview inrolling stone where they asked who influenced her and suggested the sex pistols and she said, "Im only 18 like I'm supposed to know who they are?" And EW a few weeks ago she informed the world that she was the best thing to ever happen to Arista records and they f-ed themselves by "ruining" her songs? That's like Vanilla Ice saying he made motown. Keep spelling words with numbers, Avril. We'll pretend its still 1992 and s8ter boi is an ok thing to say

ummmm avril is pretty amazing, but i think kelly clarkson is a serious poser whom i cannot stand

They suck....
Hands down, they don't write their own music.. they are just singers for hire... they are puppets for the industry just like most every one else in the same "POP" category...
