First go see the police report on file. Second, if you have the names and numbers/adresses of the witnesses, contact them. Third, speak to your insurance company. If it wasn't clear cut in the police report and the other person didn't admit fault it ends up being up to the insurance companies to fight it out. You may want to check for an attorney depending on how much damage (property and medical) there is.

Fight it! Get the Witnesses to come forward, and get a copy of the Police Report! Cross examine the Investigating Officer's,and enquire why the two Witnesses...were not taken into consideration? You were making a Left turn on a Green Arrow,so you did indeed have the right of way!

Your insurance company should be subpoenaing the other witnesses for trial. The other insurance company is going to insist it's your fault because then they don't have to pay for your car being fixed. If you made a left turn on a green arrow then the other guy obviously ran the red light and is at fault. If your insurance company is falling down on the job, then hire a good attorney and sue them. You should recover the attorney fees and court costs from the lawsuit. IF you win.

turn it over to your insurance agent. they will contact the people that witnessed the collision. if you had a green arrow that means the other driver ran a red light case closed they will see that and pay up.

And what does your insurance say?
TO ALL THOSE WHO SAID "GET A LAWYER":
Why do you think insurance has representation clauses?
You are advising this poster to go to the expense of an attorney, investigations both private and exploratory and the expense of trail preparation, at least $5,000 plus for an incident that has not reached a level to justify such an expense.
And if the poster lives in a no-fault state, you are advising them to waste every penny without factual basis for such.

Well of course your being blamed, thats because other insurance companies don't want to pay. Your insurance company should fight on your behalf, talk to them and tell the witnesses, if they don't fight get a new insurance company.

The police document from on scene must have coated that assistance. you want to search for suggestion from a lawyer.
