How would you describe your normal daily routine?

BUSY ... very, very, very busy ... from SUNUP to well after sundown into the very late hours of the night!

Starts at Sunup with the morning trip out to the barn to FEED the horses ... clean the aisles, check the condition of the auto-waterers, and yes, make sure that all the horses are happy, healthy, and fed ...

Mucking a bit ... (If you don't know what that is -- don't ask! -- it has to do with cleaning out the stalls/runs).

Coming back to the house, doing the first loads of laundry for the day. Start on my projects for home renovations -- right now .. I am in the middle of renovating all the kitchen cabinets -- stripping off the old (nasty) finish ... prepping the surface, staining the wood (ALL sides -- multiple coats), letting the results cure between coats of stain, then .. going on to the wood pieces that are ready for Poly Coat (at least 2 coats) ... then ... more cure time ... finally reassembly (after the base units have also had the same work done) ...

Going outside to do outdoor work (like weeding, poisoning the interdicted plant species and removing the poison plants (the ones I see), cleaning out the car, walking the doggies, back inside for more inside work ...

THEN ... if I have time between coats -- I work on the images that I've taken in the past couple of months -- which I need to prep prior to printing (I've gone BACK to college to learn the skills to being a professional photographer/website designer), etc etc etc ....

THEN ... at least once a week -- MOW the lawn, go for more fuel for the Lawn Tractor, weed-wacking the borders, watering the potted plants ...

By that time .. it is time for the Horses to get their evening meal ... more cleaning ... then ...

I can come inside for a meal .. and still more work to do.

IF I am very lucky -- I'll be able to make it to bed BEFORE falling asleep ... IF NOT .. then I sleep in the chair with the computer near me open!

Tonight -- I actually made it to the bedroom ... and I've finished early!

SO .. the bottom line is ... For this Empty-Nesting Single Retiree (yes, a RETIREE) -- It is a VERY ACTIVE DAY -- and ... on top of all this -- I am DEFINITELY Disabled! So even with problems walking .. I STILL can't sit down most of the day ... too much to do ... but I REALLY Enjoy being ACTIVE!
