I like questions that make me smile too
I guess when I answered the question about waffles and it showed "these people thought this was an INTERESTING question" I thought funny yes..silly yes....INTERESTING uh not really thought provoking........yes I know this is all in fun so could I have my head back from the people who chewed it off

and yes I have actually starred question ...and some by accidented cuz my computer was running slow and I was double clicking and thought yikes that was stupid....now people will think I thought THAT was interesting lol

maybe cause they cant find a good question to star so then they star a silly question i star questions that have had loads of people that have put a star on them i do mostly
i cant find pretty much people who star questions so i just star my friends questions
and i star intresting questions and no i dont think that if people star questions they will get a best answer for it
i got a best answer for saying i dont know lol (laugh out loud)

Lol, I don't think that's a strategy of attracting the asker's attention. Askers go for the answers that they like anyway, so it wouldn't matter.
I agree taht some of the starred questions may border on silliness, like 'Do you like showers?' or 'Do you shave your arms?'
I've noticed that simple questions that can be answered easily or taht refer to preferences attract people's attention and they're usually starred because I suppose those are the type of questions they want to answer.

Lol, funny. Cuz I just about never star any questions, and if I do it's cuz I clicked it by accident, and I didn't even answer the question! I dunno why people care so much about points, though it is fun to read an e-mail about getting best answers. It's not THAT fun, lol.
