I had an answer ready but the "star if you like this topic" keeps running through my head. I'm pretty sure that everyone knows to star those question that they like, and I'm also pretty sure that people do not like being told to star things. I know it annoys me to distraction, (thus my inability to answer the actual question), sorry. Hey maybe reading this answer will make someone sleepy!

two glasses of wine, a hot bubble bath and after wards, my mans hands messaging my body from my neck to my feet with hot neutragena sesame oil. This always relaxes me and sends me straight to la la land! Let's not forget the sound of Luther Vandross singing in the background.

Video games or writing stories. Watching movies I've seen 4 million times.

Warm milk or warm cocoa. Herbal teas like nighty night or sleepytime are good too, but caffeine does bother some people.
Some nice soothing music with sound effects work too or use a baby's lullabye tape. I know it sounds dumb but it does really work.

My husband says toast with jelly makes him sleepy. Sex and boring books make me sleepy.
