a lady I know who claimed to be a friend, was going to sit at my table at a banquet we both went to. She asked me who was sitting next to me, and I said "My husband". She said "EWWWW" and got up and went to another table.

Me being insulted about my mental illness by strangers on a forum. I was just trying to seek help. Prime example of what someone told me today:
As far as your illness goes, you probably need to be evaluated quickly. Im not trying to be funny or rude, but based on your rationale, that it's R. Kelly that's causing you to have unwanted thoughts and question your sexuality( & your overall sense of whats appropriate to say at times, and your ability to take care of yourself),your pyschiatric state may have been misdiagnosed, because depression,OCD or Anxiety disorder would not cause that to happen. It seems much more serious than that. I would suggest talking to your counselor and having them refer you back to a psychiatrist, who can put you on the proper medication and correctly diagnose you. I'm by no means a doctor, but I am familiar enough with mental health problems that I can recognize a problem waiting to happen.

Oh, there have been lots of things I've seen, and some things I've done (unfortunately.) But one thing I don't mind sharing is one time a coworker rubbed her slightly flabby belly and said to our former boss, "Oh, my belly looks like I've had four kids." Then she stared at her and then back at me. I've had four kids...she's had zero...and at the time...I was a little larger than she is. Now I'm smaller, but man, that was so rude!

One time, when my oldest son, now 20, was still in a stroller, I had gone to the grocery store in our little town, and it didn't have automatic doors and I was struggling to get the door open and hold onto the stroller at the same time and some IDIOT came strolling through the door as if I had opened it JUST FOR HIM. Talk about pissed.

a few years ago my husband and I weren't getting along good at all (talking about divorce, blah blah blah). We weren't having sex often, obviously. He kept telling everyone that I was sleeping around on him because I obviously wasn't giving it to him. I was mad. He's the only guy i have ever been with. I thought it was very rude of him. It's ok if he talks about our problems but God Forbid I say anything to any of my friends.
ugh.

Laughing at a disabled person. I think that is very immature and they should have been slapped for doing so.
