Can someone explain what those numbers mean? I need to get replacements and see a few on ebay but either the Pnumber is off or the 70 number is different. Would I be able to use my factory rims on anything other than P205/70R16? Like P245/70R16? Thanks in advance.

I think you are mistaken.

In 2004 the Trailblazer had two available OE tire sizes:

P245/70R16 106S or P245/65R17 105S. If you have 16-inch rims (LT or LS model) then the tire you should have already is the P245/70R16 106S.

P245 may be a bit too wide for your stock rims. Generally, the factory doesn't recommend upsizing by more than one size (in your case P215 would be acceptable, and possibly even P235, but I wouldn't recommend P245). The designations mean:

P = passenger car tire
205 = The width (in metric sizes) of the tire.
70 = aspect ratio (size of the tread width versus the sidewall).
R = Radial
16 = size of the rim (diameter)

The 17 @ the end of those numbers is your rim size. So you want 17 inch rims on that bad boy.

Yes, but you may want to check with a local tire store first.

I had 175/70's on my truck when I bought it, and now I have 235/60's on it.

205/70R16

205 = tread width in millimeters.
70 = percentage of tread width compared to sidewall height.
(the smaller the number, the shorter the sidewall)
R= Radial
16 Bead diameter to fit the wheel.
