Give me my prozac, my cigarette and my coffee and I'll be fine....I mean it.....don't mess with me cause I might implode.....and sobbing......ok. I am so sorry.......I ... I .... I feel so depressed today.

I think most everyone deals with some form of depression. I try to just laugh it all off and remember that it's all small stuff and I don't sweat the small stuff!

are three classification which depression can fall under. The two major ones of pure depression are, depression as a brain disorder, a mental illness and the worried well according to the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI).
The third being the down swing of Bipolar, still yet a mental illness.
NAMI rates it at 15 million American adults, or approximately 5 to 8 percent of the adult population. These figures do not include children.

I think anyone who is genuinely happy, takes a keen interest in a number of activities outside the home, has a perfect family with no drama, a secure, high-paying job and perfect health sure as hell wouldn't be here.

I would say 35% currently do, 30% have at one point of another and 25% will and 10% will not experience it first-hand.

I think we all have to deal with depression in one time in our lives or another.

Probably quite a few of us. I do, but I can deal with it. I do ok in the warmer weather, but winters can get pretty grim.

I think everyone who has hormones deals with depression.
