Now this is my own opinion but i thought it was about him trying to keep a girlfriend who's found someone better and he's asking for just one more night to prove his worth..

when i listen to fall out boy i dont even attempt to understand the lyrics. I just like their music.

Yeah it is about a one night stand and when they say like "he takes like you but sweeter" its like the girl saying that to them.

ummm, yeah sure, why not?! well i think fall out boy is awesome so i listen to them alot and what they're saying is that some girl gave them some ''fun'' for one night and they're saying thanks for the '' one night stand''. understand?
