Yes, and still have my house in order. I spent 18 months in the bush as a combat Marine in Viet Nam.

Not only did I think I was going to die, but two days before the surgery, I had a dream that I did die. Much like you, I had all the paperwork in order, wrote my children and husband letters and told everyone I loved them ten times over and thanked them for being in my life. Then I had that darn dream and saw how miserable the lives of my children were when dad fell apart and I realized there was no way God would take me now. I had the mindset I'd wake up and I did. I had all my cervical discs replaced and it was a very touchy surgery. Recovery was hell, and I've got alot of nerve damage, but I'm here darn it. Apparently God agreed that it just wasn't my time!

Yes I have I went and made my funeral arrangements so if anything happens its taken care of. I also was so worried what would happen to my kids they were only 7 and 6 at the time. Dieing wasn't what tore me up leaving them behind was. The thought of not seeing them growing up and helping them through life so I also started a book giving them advice recipes any thing I could think of or an answer to anything they may want to ask. I also did the benifisiary thing. And asked certain people if they would take care of my kids.

i have faced death on several occasions....been shot twice in the head, at sea in a 40' boat in the center of a hurricane, been left tied up face down with my children in the living room with guns being ****** at the back of our heads, had a heart attack, and on and on. Death, or the thought of it, is not scary. At the times when I thought I would die, I felt a great peace come over me. My affairs are in order, for I could die at any time...people do it every second. It is not as scary an ordeal as you would think, is it?

I have kidney disease. It is chronic and very painful. I am very fortunate that I am not sick enough for dialysis yet. I cannot get on the donor list until I am sick enough for dialysis. I grew up in foster care so I cannot turn to my birth family. I have all my papers like you in order. I have a son from my x I also have foster children and a husband that is twice my age. I am 33 he is 66. I live life everyday and to its fullest. I think you are brave and very smart to have everything done for your children. They are so young they will need all the help you can give at any age. Our oldest is 19 and our youngest is only 8.
