i have a dell inspiron 640m it has an s video cable on it i want to hook it up to my sony trinitron tv that also has a s video input on it. i would like to go to bestbuy tomorowow and do i only have to buy i single cord to connect them both because i think the S video is differernt on both of them does this matter and how can i get the picture of the tv from my labtop once i have it plugged in do i have to go to tv video or something also would this work when i want to play my computer games on my labtop can they be projected on my tv.

You will need two cables. The first is a standard S-video cable, which will carry the picture from the laptop to the television. However, S-video does NOT carry the audio, just the video. So you will need a cable to go from the speaker jack on the laptop to the audio jack on the television. Check each for exactly what connectors you will need. (Usually minijack to RCA).

Randall is ideal. this is the projector settings. you would no longer elect to hit the function (fn) key even with the reality that. the key appears like this IOI in basic terms the O is more advantageous squared off. once you push that button you need to get some thoughts; computer in basic terms, duplicate, enlarge and projector in basic terms. you'd be wanting to settle on projector in basic terms. sturdy success.

You can just listen to the audio from your laptop.
