shes one of my friends... only she thinks shes not even pretty. I think she could model!! seriously.
is there like some sort of medical or psycological disorder that makes people think that they're ugly when there not?

There's a disorder called Body Dysmorphic Disorder, or BDD for short.
It's when people focus on some aspect of their appearence and think they are hideous, and cannot leave the house, go to work or are constantly bothered about it, when it is not noticeable to others (their percieved flaw, that is.)
It's a very serious disorder, causing the person to be constantly depressed, agitated, and unable to function or go about their daily lives.

First of all, she is very pretty. She have a very sweet smile.Some people might be a little self-conscious or like to compare them self to others,which will cause them to think opposite. Tell her, the more she think she's not pretty/the prettier she becomes.Like a line i've read in a book about sucessful business men. (The more i seem to forget, the more i know and understand)

she is, some people will say they are ugly just to hear others say they are pretty. But it could also because she looks fat which is a disorder if she starts to look really skinny then you need to worry, right now not a problem, and if guys arent asking her out then that could be another problem.

she is very attractive, i dont understand why she would think she was ugly. im not sure if there is, maybe she has a very low self esteem . i hate to see young people so down on themselves i hope everyones responses will make think otherwise

well now on second thought..i read your questions and this girl is you...i notice that you tend to post your picture alot looking for compliments...so let me tell you something...when someone does that alot..it appears pathetic like you are looking for a compliment..a compliment is like a gift...you don't ask for it...you just receive it...think about that the next time you beg for compliments

Its just a self confidence thing. all she needs to do is boost her self confidence somehow, weather it b through a sport, club, or boy friend. The only medical thing I can think of for not liking the way u look is BDD, but IDK. As long as she isn't trying to change herself physically (ie cutting, ect.) she should b ok! Its prob just low self confidence!!!
