Always curious: Except I still don't think she is superior. I think God gave her a gift to love and cherish, just as God gave me my little gifts to love and cherish, I do not think I am superior to them. I treat them as equal human being s as to anyone else I know, I just have to guide them sometimes. But your right, she brought me into this world and yes she could take me out!

Your mom will always be superior to you and will be even after you turn 18 so deal with it. Peace!!!

Well, she probably is. However, cherish, respect and love her even if you think she has faults or if the two of you clash. She knows you better than anyone else ever will in the world!
My mom died when I was 35, she was 69. I would give ANYTHING to have a mother back in my life!!!

I agree my mom is that way I don't talk to her much and this is one of the million reasons why she always seemed to me even when I was little like she thought she was better and it makes me sick so I just have as little to do with her as possible. And it is so nice and peaceful now.

She at this point in your life, she has had a lot more life experiences and don't want you to learn the hard way.
Everyone need to try and learn from the experiences of others, we just will not live long enough to make all the mistakes on our own and learn from them.

Mothers earn that right. One day you will have it also but for now, respect the woman who brought you into this world, because if she is anything like my mom was, she can take you out too.

Just nod and agree. If you're not as young as you look in your avatar, then neither is she. She is set in her ways, all you can do now is grin and bear it.

superior to what or whom? She's your mom, so technically, she is superior to you. Don't worry. When you grow up you can move out and never have to worry about her again.
