Find a job where you have something else that motivates you.

Maybe if you try very hard to just concentrate on your work it will distract you from the constant reminder that you have this crush. Become very focused and involved in whatever immediate project you are working on. If you dive into it you will eventually become more motivated because you will see the results of all your hard work and it will give you a boost to your pride in your work.
You could also redirect your thoughts by finding a new crush to focus on. This time though try to spark one that is not at your work place. Even if it isn't a serious crush it will give you something to steer your thoughts towards besides your boss.
I think it may just take some time so be patient and it will pass. Hope this helps.

It would seem to me that you want to impress your boss for some reward, other than money. Making him notice you is probably what motivates you and you have a desire to be noticed and possibly pursued. I recommend counseling, because this problem would likely arise in other situations as well, and it is not healthy.

Free yourself...find another job that challenges you on it's own merits.
