I'm not trying to throw daggers or insult anyone. I'm just curious if individuals who hate Bush allow their rage to take over.. Is that why they don't support our troops and the job they're doing?

Children dream about becoming a soldier for their country, would you deny your child that right? The right to dream and have his wishes fulfilled?

Fact: The Iraqi insurgents are terrorists and will not stop their brewing hate for the rest of the world *(unless you're a Muslim)*

Why turn your back on your country, our soldiers? Disagree with the president, that's fine. But disagree. Some of the things that I've seen you guys spit out isn't disagreement, it's pure hatred.

I respect your opinion, return the favor - please, refrain from bashing me.

I would say that yes, some may let their hatred for Bush to color their opinion of everything else. It's too bad because we should want the same thing and that is the US to win the war. We have few options. This is a very good question and I hope people look at their opinions and see what they really think as opposed to seeing their hatred for Bush.

I'm certainly not going to bash you. You seem to be a reasonable, thoughtful and knowledgeable person of maturity. You also have the ability to express your opinion without the obscenities, stupidity, ranting and general "no-nothingness" of many of the people on this forum.

I just disagree with some of what you say. There is no doubt that "terrorism" is loose in our world. Right now, it is the Islamic jihadists and fundamentalists who seem to be raising Cain. 20 years ago, it was the PLO. Then there was "Black September", The Front de Liberation du Quebec, the Red Army Faction and dozens of other groups...Then you have our own home-grown screwball groups; American Coalition for Life Council, Aryan Nation, Army of God, the ELF, the Patriot's Council. And, those are just the groups. In the past the KKK and others committed their own brand of terror. There are uncounted individual jerks like Timothy McVeigh and others.

Most people who are against Mr. Bush and his little illegal invasion do support the military over there. We all know that they are doing their very best under the very worst conditions. Their lives are at risk every moment of every day.... They are trying their hearts out in a situation that shouldn't ever have existed. Mr. Bush and his cronies lied to everyone, manufactured "evidence" and ignored the CIA, FBI and others in order to invade Iraq....and they did it because they want the oilfields.....that is the ONLY reason. Meanwhile, our soldiers are in the middle of a vicious war where the enemy cannot be identified, where there is NO strategy and where there is no END of it. Bushes little war has cause disaffected young people from all over the world to head for Iraq, strap on a bomb and die for Allah. Where there were no terrorists, there are now thousands. Meanwhile, bin Laden is still running his little bunch of freaks and Afghanistan is going downhill (and has now become the world's supplier of opium), the Taliban is re-emerging..

We should be cautious and careful in the world. All nations should be vigilant. Keep our intelligent communities funded and give them all the help they need to spot the bums. But fighting a useless war in Iraq is making more terrorists than it is stopping. It must end...

If Mr. Bush was worried about the "oppressed" people with no democracy being led by a vicious dictator, he would have gone to Rwanda - or sent troops during the Tut-si/Hutu genocide or Somalia or any of the other places in the world where mass genocide and murders take place.

It is so strange that you ask not to be bashed when you just spent your times bashing others.

You have a number of things incorrect here. Bush is the one liberals bash, not the soldiers. There are few if any people who go to soldiers and insult them in the same way they would gladly do to the president or other politicians. It isn't the soldiers that don't have liberal support, it is their commander and chief that has no support. It is unfortunate that people like you refuse to see the difference, but that difference is there.

Most Iraqi insurgents are people who listen to a leader and follow that leader without a care of who they are following. It isn't about hate for the US. It is about following a person who wants that US out of their country. They won't follow the US out because they are just concerned with their own lot in life. STOP THE UNREALISTIC HOLLYWOOD DRAMATICS.

Also a FACT: Most Iraqis are either supporting the insurgents, or are happy the insurgents are attacking the US forces. How do you defend a population from the insurgents, when the insurgents are the population of Iraq. You can't.

Also a majority of the Iraq government have signed petitions asking the US to leave and an increasingly large majority of Iraqi citizens want the US to leave. The longer we are there, the more unstable Iraq will become.

And the hate comes from your side as well. You should listen to what pro-war supporters are saying instead of giving them the benefit of the doubt. They demand you accept what they think, or would gladly spit out so much hate.

LOL rage c'mon look the fact is I support our troops I come from a long line of troops. The fact is that our policies abroad have brought us to this. Bush and others profit from war, The fact is that we are in a needless war in Iraq' no one to my knowledge is against fighting in Afganastan where the terrorists were to start with. However Bush's blood lust didn't stop there he had to pick a fight with a country that was not a threat to us. People need to realize the bigger fight at home which is for our freedoms and liberties. Our freedoms and liberties are what are being sacrificed for so called safety what kind of idiots are the american people to buy into this lie?

there are countless us who experience the conflict grow to be a mistake. Saddam grow to be not in any way related to al Qaeda, who antagonistic him because of the fact he grow to be a mundane Muslim. by removing Saddam and disqualifying the Bathists from all workplaces we created a potential vaccuum for the jihadists to pass into, and did their paintings for them. there have been no WMDs, and if Bush and Cheney theory so they have been mendacity to themselves as properly because of the fact the yankee human beings. the only reason to invade grow to be because of the fact some Arabs had harm us, and we'd have enjoyed to lynch a pair as payback. It did not be counted if it grow to be the stunning Arabs, as long as we felt slightly extra helpful. it fairly is the fashion of questioning Bush is able to. whilst i individually evaluate Senator Obama too youthful and green to be President, I frankly do not see how he might desire to be any worse. In Iraq our troops are actually not doing what they do maximum suitable, that's captivating enemy troops in open attempt against. they're compelled to combat a conflict of profession with an adversarial tension able to mixing in with the final inhabitants, in an unconventional conflict armed with commonplace weapons and procedures. someway, George W. Bush has led us right into a difficulty the place we are the redcoats and the enemy are the minutemen. i've got faith the President might desire to get somebody to make certain him slightly historic past, because of the fact he has forgotten in spite of he found out in school. Even a pretend Texan might desire to understand the fee of martyrdom, yet George can't even remember the Alamo! the international conflict on terror is purely being fought in Iraq because of the fact we are there. as quickly as we are out they'll all pass to Afghanistan, or start up taking photos at Israel back. Our in basic terms benefit is that we can %. the spot. we can opt for extra helpful than Iraq. Obama is familiar with that, and he's a rookie. think of approximately what that suggests with regards to the Bush league.

The war against terrorists and AlQueada in Iraq is one that George Bush created. Al Queada wasn't in Iraq in March of 2003 when we invaded. Two months earlier the CIA issued a report that stated, among other things, that the invasion of Iraq would eventually lead to difficult insurgency and allow Al-Queada to obtain a foothold in the country. Bush chose to ignore those facts yet in spite of all that many on the right are willing to give him a pass for his past mistakes and attack the left for criticizing him. I ask you what's worse; over criticizing a president or being an apologist and ignoring mistakes that are detrimental to the future of this country?

I do believe we have to fight terrorists... and I have never denied it but this war is unnecessary.... and the way we are going about it is all wrong... we need to solve this by training the people to take care of their own country and teach their children not to become suicide bombers

I think the war situation causes some people to dislike Bush, not the other way around.

I haven't seen people posting that they hate soldiers or the US other than spammers or people who are trying to start problems purposely.

I wouldn't say that I am against the war, just against the strategy. "Surges" and training police infiltrated by militiamen are not good strategies. I would think more of Bush if he ordered Al-Sadr to be taken out and get rid of the "politically correct" rules of engagement.

Very good question. I have alot of respect for people who disagree with our president yet support our country and especially those who serve. Unfortunately we have those nut jobs that hate Bush so much they would love to see us lose just so he looks bad. That crowd seems to be growing. Then you have the extreme nut jobs (Rosie) that call our soldiers terrorists, they are a disgrace to this country and should not be able to call themselves American.

Thank you. I have been on here for over a year and all I have ever read is not disagreements (OK,maybe some) but just total hate. That is why Terrorism is sooooooooo active today and that is why they are targeting the United States. WE are so DIVIDED now, I believe worse than in the Civil War! I read just last night that one person on here really actually believes that our soldiers have decided that they don't believe in what is going on in Iraq. They think we have lost! That is treason to me. All soldiers I know, believe whole heartdly in what the country is trying to achieve. If they believe why cant the country they are fighting for believe along with them. It is just awful at what we have become.....terrorists love it! Oh, yea Rosie says we are the terrorists. Hang her!
