Cats is my favourite musical and always will be. I've loved it ever since I was five- and I know every word.
It's the true masterpeice of Andrew Lloyd Weber, and Broadway. Should they bring it back for another record-breaking run?

I think so. It will probably be a long while though. I believe that there is a time limit as to how long a show must be closed before it can be revived. You can still see touring productions though. Look online for the website that says when they'll be where.

No. Broadway needs to bring in some new shows so that we can all see something that we don't know every word to and has been beaten to death. It also makes it availible for other community theatres to put on because when a show is on Broadway it cannot submit the rights.

Live by it.

Have a good one.

I couldn't believe it when it finally closed after more than 10 years on Broadway. Beatlemania was another show that seemed to have been on Broadway forever. Same holds true for Les Miserables. It's good to get some new life in the venerable Theater District.

The Broadway of today is mostly run by American corporations, which is to say all that matters is the bottom line. "Cats", alas, is yesterday but if the moguls on Times Square thought for one second that a production would bring in dough, the answer to your question is Yes, Yes, Yes.

It would not be bad if they brought it back once in a while, but if they brought it back, it would never break another record. It could not run on broadway that long again.

It is awesome on Broadway, though.

I agree everything must die eventually, but I wouldn't mind seeing it on Broadway. I never got the chance to.

I wish it would come back for a short run, and maybe if we all hope enough, it actually will.
But if it doesn't, I can still count on U.S. tours.
