How do i search for an acting agent?

i tried yellow pages, i tried google, i tried talent agencies...and i got nothing...i live in san diego and i was wondering if anyone knows a legitimate talent agent or agency? any information would be helpful thank you :):)

living in San Diego i would think there would be a lot to chose from, but look again under acting agent or try modeling agent in the yellow pages. one of those should get you started. just remember that getting an agent shouldn't cost you a penny. they represent you for a cut usually 15%. so don't pay. the only thing that will cost you some money will be the head shot. lots of luck to you
