jm2u469: The only reason why The Beatles were together longer was because Jim died at the morbid age of 27, and yes, maybe The Beatles did have a great impact on popular culture but that doesn't mean I can't compare the two bands.

Everyone in here must be fairly young....but there is no way to compare the Beatles to the Doors. Realistically. The Beatles were together years longer than the Doors, McCartney and Lennon were musical genius's.... and on and on. The Beatles and the Stones may be a better comparison...but it is still the Beatles that remain the #1 band in history....ok....#2, behind Elvis....
