congrats on being so close to finishing school. first of all, how long would it take u to complete the remaining hrs for ur degree? the decision is urs whether u want to complete school in tx or elsewhere but if u complete school in tx, u don't have to worry about it anymore and can go anywhere with ur degree. if u stop going to school and move, u'd have to pay out of state tuition, etc plus go thru the whole adjustment thing as well as find a job and place to live... which usually takes priority over school when u move to a new place.

do u have friends in the mentioned states that could help u either by either having a place to crash or a job? it might not necessarily be the job u want at first but sometimes u gotta take a couple steps back to move forward.

i dont know much about atl or ny...but i lived in cali most of my life and the cost/standard of living can drive a person insane. plan everything out before u make ur decision!

I'm going to sound like a mother- or maybe a grandmother- which is ok since I'm both! At this point, I would say that it would behoove you (old-fashioned word there!) to stick it out until you graduate. I know it's tough to think of another several months in a place you don't like, but really, you're young and have a long life ahead to find your niche. I know, you didn't want to hear that! It may seem to go by slowly, but when it's over you'll be so glad that you stuck it out, got your degree, etc. Since you're working, save as much money as possible- moving is not cheap! I'm from Ca. originally, and it's a pretty expensive place to live, especially if you're just starting out. Same for many parts of NY. I live in a small town just outside of Nashville so I'm only 4 hours from Atlanta. It's the most cost effective area you named and it's a great place. There is tons of stuff to do and you're close to lots of other cities that are also great. My advice is to save enough to take some time to find what will make you happy- but in the meantime, start researching each place on the internet- jobs, housing, recreation, etc. to see which place will be the perfect fit. Good luck!!!

Stay where you are until you have at least 6 months living expenses saved in checking account. You might want to choose the Ohio city you are planning on moving to and find out the cost of apartments there. It would be good to have a job lined up, but if you have the skills and talents for your profession, it shouldn't be too hard to land a job. Very easy if you're in the medical profession. When moving, you should notify your credit card company, bank, lawyer, etc of what your new address is going to be. Must arrange for moving of furniture, household goods etc., also account for storage time until you find a new place to live. It might be a good idea to take a couple of long weekend trips to Ohio and look around for jobs, housing, etc. You can fill out some job applications on line and set up either late Friday or early Monday interviews. If you leave Philadelphia after work on Thursday night, you can get to just about any place in Ohio by Friday morning. You're young enough that you can do 1 night w/o sleep. Lots of luck

Finish out the school term, then think about moving.
" One day at a time Sweet Jesus ".
If you can afford to move to NYC, do it.
I was born there, and NYC is very open is far as doing things and jobs.
Rent is expensive there. But,maybe you can share an apartment with another student.

If you're 32 hours from graduating, you probably should stay at the same college for the final two semesters. There's no telling what credits you might lose if you transfer at this point.
