Skid Row and Poison had no longer released any albums yet. so a ways as Rock bands common in 1984: Van Halen Judas Priest Iron Maiden Motley Crue Def Leppard Scorpions Triumph All had songs on the radio and acquired out excursions.

"Sight Like December". I think they´re absolutely amazing and so unique. They use these combinations of different types of musical instruments...like they would be singing a rock song, with a guitar and drums...and then the singer would say something that is really true and moving in his lyrics and then they would start playing the violin and that just always goes straight to my heart...and the singer´s lyrics alone are...only describable as simply amazing....i can really relate to everything he´s saying, its like he´s singing the things i cannot say outloud...and his choice of words also just completely blows me away. I just think they are so unique and awesome. :)

(Most of the bands I like aren't popular with my age group even though there great bands. Its sad that some people my age I've tried to talk to about music haven't even heard of Elvis Costello or Buddy Holly.)

Triumph...I absolutely love them, but they weren't as huge as some of the other 80's bands. Some of the greatest rock guitar ever played.

Breaking Benjamin....I think they are the best band ever and sing very very well, but not many people know who they are. If they were on MTV then they would be more popular, but they are not.
