Yes it can, but it'll be costly. You would need to install the following parts:
A/C evaporator
A/C compressor
A/C lines
A/C condensor
A/C control head
A/C compressor clutch relay
A/C pressure cut-off and cycling switches
PCM (if on a modern vehicle where the PCM controls the A/C compressor operation)
Some of those parts listed are NOT cheap, let alone the labour to install them and get the system working. With that said, you have to decide whether or not it's worth spending this kind of money, or simply trading it in for a vehicle equipped with A/C. Hope this helps.

yes it can be done ,but the cost of it is around 1500 dollars ,and that's providing that you can find everything you need from another car, like a donor car, other wise if you buy all this stuff strait out,it wouldn't be worth it ,you could actually trade cars cheaper than you could have it installed, but if you can find another car like yours in a junk yard with all the needed parts on it,it would cost you at least 1500,bucks and possibly more, and its a lot of work, also, most mechanics wont do this work ,and most air condition repair shops will say their to busy to do it,its just a job no one really wants to do,good luck with it though,i hope this helps.

i had a old truck with a old a/c and to update it with new stuff it cost 1200 and that was taking it to a dealership, which is about the same price for installing a new one, depending on ur car it may not be worth it, u may want to go to wal-mart and buy one of those cooling fans to install in ur window and save ur money and buy a car with a/c

It really depends on what car it is since that can be the determining cost factor. It's probably cheaper to get a car with a/c.

Most dealerships have a factory ac system that can be ordered for your car.The dealer can give you the price for parts and labor.By useing a factory system it will work alot better than a aftermarket system will.
