i went to a store and the jeans where in sizes like 28 - 36 and i was confused. for one what do those numbers stand for and if i where a 13/14 what size would i be

i am a 12 - 14 and wear a 33 at j crew. the numbers you are seeing are for your waist size measured at the smallest portion of your waist, some where around your belly button. bend to side and where your waist causes an indent is where to measure.

The numbers on those jeans are waist measures. So for example, if you're waist measures 29 inches, you would buy a size 29. You'll just have to measure your waist.
