Your statement is very flawed logically. It's like saying:
If a bear has fur, how come I dont feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

that's no longer a logical step to declare, because of the fact a house has a fashion designer/author that the universe could also have a author. THe question would desire to then be prolonged to if the universe has a author, who or what created the author, etc. As for looking a watch fastened interior the process nowhere and understanding had a author, what in case you got here across something else like a carrot, you will could stick to the comparable good judgment and argument no count what you got here across.

i think if it happened by chance there would be life popping up all over the place. i was watching a show the other night it was called what is missing from our universe and it was discussing what holds are universe together so far 90% of outer space is un accounted for in 1970 they called that missing piece dark matter well in the mid 90's they discovered that dark matter only takes up another 20% so in the last few years they have decided that what takes up the rest must be dark energy. no one knows what God looks like. the bible says we are made in gods image but i don't think its a physical image but a spiritual image now here again no one knows what a spirit looks like. or even what it is. our body's has its on electrical system when we die that energy is gone. i perceive GOD as dynamic energy being neither male nor female but at the same time is very powerful and intelligent. so why couldn't this dark energy as science calls it be in fact GOD. the reason they refer to it as dark is because they cant see it but they know in fact that it is there.

in physics (as a keen physicist) we have two theories on the universe, the steady state theory, that the universe has always been there, for the whole of time, before time etc, never has it not been there, and that to me is imposable, but because it has always been there, ther could never have been a creator to make it in the first place and the big bang theory, which suggests that the universe started from a point of matter, and exploded, (this can actually be partially proved by things like red shift) and then forces came along and formed early stars and planets gravity and such, I'm not going to go to much into it or i might crash this server! but nothing how the bible or other such texts suggests it happens, these from a scientific point of view are the only two feisable ways it could have happened, and a designer does not come into it

A house does not have to have a designer/creator.
you could live in a cave or on the side of a mountain and call that home.
Last part...complicated universe...True enough...Happened by chance??? Probably not. It did happen. And, we are here.

If there were processes in the Universe which imposed selection that favored the form of a house, then houses would have evolved on their own. Wait a minute. Nature DID provide such a process. It is called life. Then intelligence. Then technology!
Read "Blind Watchmaker" by Richard Dawkins. This will answer your question completely...unless you are like one of those religious nuts who aren't concerned about knowing anything at all. "God did it," is all they ever need to know. Simple? Yeah, that's for sure. Simple answers for simple minds.

Personally I believe that there is a designer, but this Devine Designer is beyond our imagination, have brain greater than this universe and must have part of existence outside this universe.
So there are no creator, in humanoid sense of thinking. Most of the time we think of a creator, we think of a personality, just like human but with omnipotent power. The creator of this universe is not a person.
Nevertheless there are concepts beyond exist or not-exist that you must know before you understand about the Creator. The concept of exist and not-exist are only worthy in everday case, just like the concept of greater and smaller is only apply when you deal with real number, but have have no significance when dealing with complex number.
Is 3+4i greater or smaller 4+2i ?
Is a surgeon more skillful than a carpenter?
Is something that exist beyond our universe considered exist? The law of physic only apply in our universe, therefore there will be no proof of the existence of a creator, in the sense that physic can prove. Only our creative thinking ability is the proof that we can accept, that we are the creation of a creator with thinking ability beyond any creativiy.

It is often stated that chance is the will of God. Probability on the other had is a different story. It is a forced function which depends on the system which force it.
As far as the Creation of the Universe is concerned ,He made it feasible to accommodate and support all biological life. Now why that is so.?was it by chance that He chose to do it is something we do not understand. Why He chose me to exist or any other Humans?Perhaps its an expression of
Love.

Not chance. Physical laws. We know how these things could have happened naturally, and we see it happening in other parts of the universe. We don't see any evidence for a designer when we know what we're talking about (no 'MADE IN TAIWAN' stickers).
This is known as the 'argument from ignorance'. Basically, it's saying 'I don't know how this could have happened, so a supernatural force must have done it'. Fortunately, we have very smart people who can figure out how it happened. And once we know easily how it could have happened naturally, there's no reason to invoke a supernatural force.

for starters, there is not necessarily anything special about the universe. the law of the universe is entropy, and entropy is maximum chaos, so regardless of how it began, you cant compare it to the orderly structure of a house.
as for life, see evolution. its impossible for humans to grasp the idea of billions of years, but once the initial elements of life were spawned, gaining more and more complexity to the point we're out now is just a matter of time. i'd go into evolution, but i'll save that until you actually ask ;)
edit: i see alot of the "you're wrong therefore i'm right" defense. this is not a viable argument in favor of anything, ever. disproving one theory does not automatically state that another theory is the proper one, and its one of religion's favorite weapons. nevermind trying to prove that what theyre saying actually has any merit, just may sure the other guy looks insane and the people will fall back on religion. read Thomas Aquinas sometime, religious philosopher from the middle ages that "attempted" to use science to prove the existence of god. problem with him was he pulled the same argument, stating that if everything else didnt work, god exists. there is no shame in not knowing the true answer, but settling for a flawed one is even worse.
