We know what an outstanding person "HE" is and because of that it is important that we heed his words. I know that he wouldn't say things for any reason but that he really feels strongly about the present administration. I find nothing wrong in somebody speaking his/her mind, and when it is someone I respect, I listen hard and take what is said with due consideration. I don't think what he said was off the mark either.
When you witness a 'wrong' do you keep quiet or do you tell someone? It is just being a good citizen. President Carter is just being a good citizen.

If it wasn't for Jimmy Carter America would have never won the first gulf war.
You know, the one that daddy bush took all the credit for?
If you remember right, the real hero in this war were the Tomahawk Missile Interceptors that would stop missiles in mid-air and thus saved thousands of American soldier's lives.
Guess who it was that insisted on funding research and manufacturing these Tomahawk Missile Interceptors while he was in office as president.
Yep, that right folks!
Jimmy Carter!
I hate it when I hear people slander this patriotic American's name because they are so ignorant that they don't know the facts.

Jimmy Carter was the worst president of the 20th century and is now proving to be the worst ex-president of all time.
I remember life under his administration. Since then, I don't remember ever hearing any subsequent president speak disrespectfully of him. I guess he isn't the gentleman we thought he was.
Jimmy, if you are reading this, thank you but you have done quite enough now go lay down.

Why was it slanderous? We live in a country where it's permissible to speak ill of our CinC. It was his opinion and I believe he should stand by it. I don't think Bush is much of a president, and I am allowed my opinion as much as someone may think he's the Second Coming.
Had he said he was short, or talked funny, or anything personal like that, THAT would have been slanderous.

Yea i agree.
Im a junior in high school, and my history teacher is the biggest racist republican. He thinks Carter was the worst president ever, and he glorifies Ragon as the grestest.
He says that Carter, is causing half of the U.S's problems today. He blames high gas prices on him...and much more.
Jimmy (the peanut farmer), was a HUMAN president. Not the kind of president that would send 2,500 troops to die in Iraq, and have his troops kill over 1 million Iraqies.

I admire and respect President Carter. When I say he is the best ex-president we have ever had, it is not an insult.
There is nothing slanderous in what President Carter said of President Bush. He was stating his opinion in which many citizens of the world share.
The tradition of a former president not speaking about a current president is oft followed albeit mistakenly. Why should anyone not speak his mind.

So I gather you lived under his 'outstanding' regime and paid 21% interest on car loans and purchased your home for a whopping 18% interest, like those of us survived through his presidency did, huh? And hey, what about those 10% unemployment rates!
Yep, 'outstanding' alright.

I rely upon the opinions of those who worked closely with the man during his political career and believe that he is not only a failed president, but in no way an outstanding person.
He was always hated by those who came under his authority. He didn't even carry his own state. Why? Because Georgians knew him best.

First of all who said he was outstanding. He was the worst president that we have ever had and he is one big total socialist. He loves Chavez and Castro and he loves making the good old US of A look bad when ever he gets the chance. No prior president has ever spoken out against a sitting president lik he has. He is a genuine jerk that should have never ever been elected!
