Just wanting to know when I ride through the Rolling Thunder Ralley on my bike do I need my helmet? Is it a requirement? Thanks!

virginia is a helmet state, so yup. u need it.

Both VA and DC have helmet laws. (Thank the nanny types who do not think that adults are smart enough to make their own choices about personal safety)
You will have to wear a helmet!

.yes the law states so in cal i have removed mine for a friends services some law will let go and not hassle you if its a big procession like rolling thunder my hat helmet off to you support our vet

Required or not...here's a statistic for you, 80% of the motorcycle fatalities in Illinois in 2006 were NOT wearing helmets. Wear one-full face!
