Yesterday by Boyz II Men. The last time I listened to that song was the night Aaliyah died. Brings me to tears everytime.
Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton is also another sad song, espcially after I saw the old news footage of how the song came to be. Talk about your freak accidents. A todler falling out of a skyscraper window is unimaginable.

Eisbrecher is a german industrial band and Ohne Dich means without you. The song describes how the singer cannot be without a person. very touching song, look up the lyics at Eis-brecher.com...just remember to click on the english side otherwise you will be lost in the german.

There's actually a lot, and most of them are country, even though I'm not too fond of country...
But the main one that pops into my head is "What Hurts the Most" by Rascal Flats.
Oh yeah and Black Label Society's "In This River"..it's a song dedicated to Dimebag Darrell, who was Zakk's best friend.

heaven (remix)- i miss you daddy by dj sammy is one that comes to mind. it was a tribute to all the people who lost their lives in 9/11 and left a family behind. It was even sadder when i first heard it because i was with a girl who had lost her dad on 9/11
