How can we get rid of world hunger?

The hungry poor cause makes many people rich. For every dollar that is donated only 10 cents gets to the recipient. Charity begins at home.

Africa, Asia and any other poor country are not poor. Their governments do not collect personal taxes as we pay, The presidents and other hangers on get huge salaries and waste vast sums of money traveling the world.

A case in point. The South African president Thabo Mebeki calls for aids money, school funding , hospital funding for his country. The rest of the world donates willingly.

However, he is in the process of awarding himself on his government ministers a 56% wage increase and building a 14 million dollars security wall around his multi million dollar palace.

Now we donate to help his people with food and educational aid. Let the starving sort out there own problems. In general they vote in the crooks. Zimbabwe and Nigeria are a prime African examples.

Sorry to go on but I really get peed off when we get blamed or made to feel guilty for the world poor when the starving poor are the result of bad governance or maltreatment by their own.

omg! I did a huge bakeslae at my school today and spent fourn hours on it! We got 162 dollars and were donating it all to a non profit organization that feeds poor starving children!
Truthfully, we have to many people on this earth to feed everybody, even though a lot opf Americans pig out like higs and forget about the 16,000 children that die EVERY DAY from stavation.
Mother nature is always trying to balance itself out, and it might take time, but sometimes, there wont be people that will go hungry, becuause the human population will be under controll and the fittest will survive.
Truthfully, I think its cruel for those poor mothers to have like 12 children that she has no idea how to feed. Those poor kids suffer through there shorts lives then die from stavation.
Those mothers and parenta should try and get an education and try to get away from those poor countries, and should try and find a food supply before they try to reproduce and have there kids starve to death.
They should be more considerate. I know it's sad, and a mother always wants to have kids, but, come on, but giving birth to a child that will have a painfull life is horrible.
Hopefully, bad presidents and governments will be ovethrown and compassionate, considerate people will take over.

we can't. there have always been nations that have been hungry. have you ever thought about the fact that if everyone were completely fed and healthy how overcrowded the world would become? famine and disease is the worlds way of thinning the population and keeping it manageable.
